ABOUT ME
A Brief Autobiography
Elyse Winch Interiors is a Portfolio created to showcase the work I have done in college over the past four years. I have felt a passion for Design and the built environment since I was quite young, I spent my high school career trying to find the perfect niche for me to explore my creative side while also making a difference in the world and working as a team with a group of dedicated peers. I decided that Interior Design was the right place for me and that led me to look into Kent State University's program. I love this school and am a very proud alumni, I know my school has produced some amazing minds and I hope to be among that group someday.
Starting my education in 2015, I have had the amazing opportunity during my time in school to work on a variety of projects and given many opportunities to meet and make amazing contacts throughout the design field, including working on several historic renovation projects in Kent alone, as well as having the opportunity to travel to Florence Italy and learn from the city and the professors who grew up there.
I feel that over the past few years I have been offered so many amazing opportunities that have changed me not only as a student and designer, but as a person. I have become more worldly and open to new challenges. I am excited for whatever may lay ahead for me.
Some of my interests outside Interior Design include reading, hiking, traveling, and photography. I am a very family oriented person and I love spending time with my younger Brother and Mom whenever I get the chance.
